Uber and Bolt

Ride-hailing apps survey

As part of our efforts to support local businesses, we have been investigating the lack of taxis from ride-hailing apps available in Dorking and the surrounding areas.

Despite rumours that this is due to the cost of the taxi licence from Mole Valley, companies like Uber and Bolt have suggested it is instead a result of not enough demand.

Local businesses feel that people leave pubs, bars and restaurants earlier because without taxis ride-hailing apps they fear they won't be able to get home.

Please fill in the survey below if you have had issues using ride-hailing apps.
