Surrey Highways take a month to fill 6 metre long pothole

I was alerted to an extremely dangerous 6 metre pothole on Ifield Road.

Residents had reported it four weeks ago, but nothing had happened.

After writing to Surrey County Council, a plan has been put in place to temporarily fix the road. It should not take a month for something as dangerous as this to be fixed. Moreover, as the fix is only temporary, this issue will have to be revisited in the near future. Unfortunately, this is not an infrequent occurrence from Surrey County Council's Highways department.
