Success at the Dorking Travelodge car park

For years concerns were raised over litter at the Travelodge and Tesco car parks. The potholes are dangerous too. Residents like Steve are having to take matters into their own hands by organising litter picks.
I've written to Travelodge CEO Jo Boydell, asking for necessary actions to be taken so that the car park is kept clean and hazard-free.
Travelodge CEO, Jo Boydell, wrote back to me a few weeks later to apologise for the potholes and litter.
Travelodge has now instructed the local hotel manager to organise regular litter picks with Tesco and is exploring options to resurface the car park.
I am grateful to the CEO for acting and thanks to Steve for raising this issue with me.
The CEO and I have been in touch several times over the last month. I am very pleased she has now agreed to fully refurbish the car park in the coming weeks.
Hopefully the days of planting flowers in the potholes will soon be over and the carpark will look better for visitors and Tesco customers.
