Questioning the OBR and the IFS on the Spring Statement

The Office for Budget Responsibility looked at the Spring Statement during a Treasury Select Committee hearing. It was concerning hearing them concede that their forecasts are ‘brave’ and that if productivity doesn't bounce back next year, as they're forecasting despite it falling last year, the government is looking at a £50bn black hole.
