SEND parents drive 100 mile round trip on school run

Daisy is 16 and thriving in a specialist school - but it's 25 miles from home.

Her parents have to drive 100 miles every day because Surrey County Council will not provide her with transportation.

We desperately need more specialist schools in the area to accommodate our SEN children.

I asked the Minister for School Standards about delays to the proposed Betchwood Vale Academy SEND School in Dorking.
