Lib Dems take control of East Surrey

East Surrey Lib Dem gain!!!! So proud that Surrey has rejected the politics of division and chose the politics of hope. We know we have a particular responsibility on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and an opportunity to improve the lives of so many Surrey families.

I'm excited to work with our new East Surrey Council Leader Steve Wotton and Deputy Kirsty Hewens, once the new unitary authority takes over from next April, to deliver on the hopes of so many in East Surrey alongside my fellow Lib Dem East Surrey MPs, Helen Maguire for Epsom & Ewell and Monica Harding for Esher & Walton.
