Chris challenges Chancellor to increase defence spending

If we send ground troops to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire all reservist soldiers, including me, are at risk to serve. I asked the Chancellor if the government had learned from mistakes in Afghanistan where the failure to properly fund defence had cost the lives of British soldiers, including a close friend. She said that the lessons from the past were one of the reasons why the UK had not taken part in US offensive action on Iran.
