Chris pressures government to seize frozen Russian assets

Earlier this year I was sanctioned by the Russian government for calling in the speech below for the seizure of $300bn in frozen Russian assets to pay for the war in Ukraine. Several parliamentary colleagues across the House were too. It is excellent news that today the German Chancellor has called for the same: https://on.ft.com/42GQDve A new financial impetus for peace in Ukraine.  I hope this means we will see an announcement from the British government soon. Seizing the frozen assets to keep Ukraine in the fight is a major lever to secure a just peace.
