Andrew Bailey

I recently challenged the Governor of the Bank of England to delay Quantitative Tightening- it is costing the taxpayer billions, and pointed out that these losses could be recovered through a windfall tax on the banks. This could raise £7bn/ year- vital funds for public services and to reduce debt in today’s fiscally constrained environment: https://www.libdems.org.uk/.../lib-dems-call-for-windfall...
