Chris welcomes Surrey Police moving to Salfords

I spoke to BBC Radio Surrey when I was first elected about my concerns that Surrey Police moving their HQ from Reigate to Leatherhead would double the length of response times to 999 calls around Horley. They have now confirmed that they will now also be based out of Salfords as a secondary location to address this issue. This is great news for many people who live nearby and will significantly reduce waiting times for police responses to 999 calls in the area.
