Chris welcomes progress on Betchwood Vale local SEND school

I called for Betchwood Vale Academy SEND school to go ahead within 5 minutes of being elected. I’m pleased that Surrey County Council have now confirmed their support for it.
The next step is a long-awaited new planning application from the Department for Education. We’re not there yet, but this will bring hope to local SEND families.
