If the government does not intervene soon, this important service will disappear from our high streets. Many independent pharmacies often have to buy prescription drugs from the NHS for more than they sell it. I spoke to BBC South East last night, alongside Georgina Frith, about my concerns over the alarming rate of community pharmacies closing down. I have also written to the Health Secretary urging him to intervene.
