Chris keeps the Government accountable on local NHS services

I wrote to Angela Stevenson, CEO of the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust requesting urgent clarification regarding the reported closure of specialist dental services at East Surrey Hospital for children with additional needs and patients with specialist dental conditions.

See her response below where she assured me that this service will not shut down:

This service needs urgent capital funding to relocate safely. Without it, the move won’t happen until 2026/27, leaving the service at risk of environmental and infrastructure issues. I’ve written to the Health Secretary asking for immediate support to prevent further delays and ensure fair access to local NHS services for SEND patients.
