Chris backed by Education Select Committee over SEND crisis

Last month, reported on ITV national news, I reported over 650 family testimonies of illegal, harmful or unethical behaviour by over 100 local authorities on SEND to the Education Select Committee. The testimonies contain 195 references to suicide. One week later the Education Secretary announced she was delaying SEND reforms. The Committee has written to me saying they share many of my concerns. SEND families trust in Local Authority governance has collapsed.
