Chris takes ITV News to pressure Government to review Mental Capacity Act

The Government considers changing the Mental Capacity Act. As reported by ITV News at Ten, Fiona Laskaris’s campaign to change the law that prevented her saving her autistic son from murder took a major step forward when the Government agreed, for the first time, to consider her amendment, supported cross party by myself, Jeremy Hunt MP and Jake Richards MP. This is an issue involved in exploitation of vulnerable people potentially hundreds of preventable deaths. ITV also reported about Parveen, whose family has also been devastated by this issue.
