Bookham Accessibility issues

Jenny, a local resident who uses a mobility scooter to get around, can’t access the nearby footpath because the Council has put in bollards to stop motorbikes and cyclists speeding through.
While the intention was good, it means Jenny has to use Lower Road instead — where the pavement is uneven and the traffic moves fast, which just isn’t safe.
I have written to Surrey Highways to ask them to make adjustments so that the path remains accessible to all residents, whilst still preventing inappropriate use by motorbikes and speeding cyclists.
